Welcome to the Culture Crew! 🎉
I know you’ll probably have a lot to get stuck into in your first couple of days but wanted to let you know of some key Payroll information that may be helpful for you.
As you may be aware, pay dates are semi-monthly in arrears around the 15th day of the month and the last business day of the month.
Below is a list of the pay dates for the rest of the year so you can plan your personal budgeting accordingly:
Axcet are our Payroll providers in the US who are assist us with processing US payroll according to state and federal legislation. They also assist with management of our 401k and health benefits programs.
You should have received an email from [email protected]
inviting you to complete your new hire forms and onboard with the Axcet Employee Portal.
You will use this portal to access your pay stubs.
Should you have any specific questions in relation to your net pay, 401k or health benefits, you can contact Axcet on 1800 801 7557 or via i[email protected].
You should have received an invitation to login to KeyPay. This is the system we use internally (i.e. within the SafetyCulture group) to plan and enter hours not at work (i.e. when you are on vacation leave or away sick). You will use this to log both paid and unpaid hours away from work.
Your username when KeyPay was set up would be the email address that you onboarded to People & Culture with (i.e. your personal email in most cases). If you would like this changed to be your SafetyCulture email, please raise a finance ticket and I can help you with this.
Note that you cannot access KeyPay via Okta using SSO so be sure to bookmark the website in the link above.
Once you have made a request for time off, your manager will be prompted to approve your request. Please ensure you communicate your intended leave dates with your manager ahead of time and enter them in KeyPay prior to going on leave.
If you are away sick, please enter your sick leave days into KeyPay on your first day back to work (or have your manager assist with doing this for you if you are away for an extended period of time)
The People & Culture (P&C) Leave policy and other company policies can be found on this Confluence page.
Should you have any further questions on the leave policy, you can go to your People manager or the P&C team.
Note that while you are in your probation period, you will not be able to go into negative annual leave (i.e. if you do not have a sufficient annual leave balance at the time of your leave request, you’ll need to put through your request as Other Unpaid Leave).
Where do I go if I have Payroll questions?
Contact Axcet on 1800 801 7557 or via [email protected]
for queries on your net (after tax) pay, 401k or health benefits.
Enjoy your first week with SafetyCulture!
